Policy Overview

At SpaceWise Beds, we stand behind every product we carry. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right. This policy outlines your options and our process for returns, exchanges, and damaged item claims.

Return & Exchange Eligibility

Items are eligible for return if they are in new, unused condition in their original packaging with all hardware, components, and accessories included. Products that have been assembled, installed, or show signs of use are not eligible for return unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 30 days of confirmed delivery. Requests submitted after 30 days will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Return Shipping Responsibility

For buyer's remorse returns or change-of-mind cancellations after shipment, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Given the size and weight of wall bed systems, return freight costs can be substantial — we strongly encourage customers to confirm measurements, finish selections, and room compatibility before placing an order. Our team is happy to assist with pre-purchase questions to avoid this situation.

A restocking fee of 25% applies to all returned items that are not the result of our error or a product defect.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, email us at support@spacewisebeds.com with your order number, the reason for the return, and photos of the item if applicable. We will respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged, please do the following: note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before the carrier departs, photograph the damage thoroughly, and contact us at support@spacewisebeds.com within 48 hours of delivery for freight shipments. For parcel shipments via UPS or FedEx, please report damage within 15 days of delivery. We will arrange replacement, repair, or a full refund at no cost to you.

Cancellations

Orders cancelled before shipment are eligible for a full refund with no restocking fee. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the standard return policy above. To cancel an order, contact us immediately at support@spacewisebeds.com with your order number.

Refund Processing Time

Once a returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Our Error vs. Customer-Initiated Returns

If we shipped the wrong item or your order arrived defective or damaged, we cover all return shipping costs and will send a replacement or issue a full refund — your choice. For customer-initiated returns, return shipping costs and the 25% restocking fee apply as outlined above.

Exchanges

To exchange an item, follow the return process above and place a new order for the correct item. Exchange shipping costs — both return and reshipment — are the responsibility of the customer unless the exchange is the result of our error.
